Enhancing Urban Resilience: Using Digital Solutions for Smart Water Management
The International Smart Cities Network is pleased to invite you to the last edition of Online Advisory Programme in 2022! The event will take place on 1st December 2022 starting at 12:00 pm UTC (see country-specific timetable in the info-sheet).
In the session, we will take a brief look back at the insights from the Smart City Expo World Congress 2022 in Barcelona, as well as the ISCN exchange event Tackling Climate Change with Digital Solutions for People-Centred Urban Development. In the global exchange event, partners of the ISCN shared knowledge and specifically discussed digital strategies and solutions for combating and adapting to climate change.
With the upcoming OAP event, we will take up this discussion and especially deal with the management of heavy rainfall events and prolonged droughts as adverse impacts of climate change. Efficient and intelligent water management as well as effective detection and warning systems play a central role in this. We look forward to discussing these topics with you, drawing on relevant examples from Europe and around the world!
