The Berlin-based innovation company where Simon is co-leading the public design unit called Hybrid City Lab was commissioned by the International Smart Cities Network to develop the “Pathfinder Social Innovation in Urban Development“.

In their conversation, they discussed how to bring innovation into the public sector and Simon shared insights and findings from their research. The pathfinder showcases 12 best practices, their real-life processes, impacts and challenges, that form together a rich and varied picture of social innovation in practice.
