Online Symposium “Smart Cities for a Green and Resilient Urban Development” (13.10.) – Register now!

The Division Smart Cities of the German Federal Ministry for Housing, Urban Development and Building (BMWSB) together with its partners from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs of the Government of India invites you to register for the annual Online Symposium of the International Smart Cities Network (ISCN). The Symposium will take place on Thursday, 13th October 2022 from 02:00 pm- 04:00 pm (CET).

This year’s Symposium will focus on Smart Cities for a Green and Resilient Urban Development. Within this topic, the Symposium will give the opportunity to discuss with the speakers in three dedicated sessions on national approaches for Urban Data, Digital Twins and AI as a foundation for sustainable smart cities and the importance of replication in this context.

Join the conversation with our high-level speakers and explore how different cities are leveraging the benefits of new technology on the path to carbon neutrality and how national governments are supporting the local digital transition. Speakers include:

Kunal Kumar, Smart City Mission Director and Joint Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), India

In addition, there will be further high-level speaker inputs from the ISCN partner countries Germany, India, Brazil and Peru. The main language of the event will be English. Simultaneous translation to German, Portuguese and Spanish will be provided during the event.
