KTS Offers for Model Projects Smart Cities

Model Projects Smart Cities (MPSC) are the central players in the federal funding programme. They test model measures and communicate the values of integrated urban development in line with the Smart City Charter and implement and anchor their strategies and measures sustainably. Model Projects Smart Cities utilise the services of the Coordination and Transfer Office Model Projects Smart Cities (KTS) and help other municipalities by sharing their gained knowledge.

Knowledge and Networking

The Coordination and Transfer Office Model Projects Smart Cities (KTS) enables the Model Projects Smart Cities to get to know each other and to network with non-supported municipalities. The Model Projects Smart Cities share their experiences, results and knowledge.

On the  Smart Cities Knowledge and Networking Platform (in German only), the virtual home of the German smart city community, all interested parties will find a place to exchange information at municipal level, to contact the technical advisory service, the Project Office and all information about the Model Projects Smart Cities. There is also an overview of interesting news and events.

It is also possible to create and personalise a profile, write your own contributions or save documents and participate in the workspaces of the working and development communities.

KTS Events for the Model Projects Smart Cities

Regional Conferences

The regional conferences are aimed at all municipalities - whether subsidised or not - that would like to find out more about smart cities and network. The Model Projects Smart Cities present their practical examples at the regional conferences and share their experiences.

Smart Country Convention (SCCON)

Many Model Projects Smart Cities will also meet and present themselves at the Smart Country Convention (SCCON), the most important national congress trade fair for smart cities and smart regions. At SCCON23 from November 7-9, 2023 in Berlin, the Federal Ministry for Housing, Urban Development and Building (BMWSB) and the Smart City Dialogue once again showcased their smart city funding initiatives with their own exhibition booth and a wide range of presentations and programme items.

MPSC Congresses

The Congresses for the Model Projects Smart Cities are aimed at all funded Model Projects Smart Cities. The Federal Ministry for Housing, Urban Development and Building (BMWSB) and the Coordination and Transfer Office Model Projects Smart Cities are looking forward to an inspiring and fruitful get-together of the MPSC community.
